On January 29, 2024 at approximately 11:56pm, Patrol Officers responded to a shots fired call in the 900 block of W. Holt Ave. Upon arrival, Officers located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. L.A. Co. Fire Personnel responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.  
   
Homicide Investigators from the Pomona Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene and began an extensive investigation. The motive for the crime is not yet known.
