On Sunday, October 13, 2024 at approximately 04:11 AM, Patrol Officers responded to a victim of a shooting in the area of the 1400 block of W. Mission Blvd. Upon arrival, officers located the victim and administered life saving efforts. Unfortunately the victim did not survive and was pronounced deceased at the scene by LA County Fire personnel.

Homicide Investigators from the Pomona Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene and began an extensive investigation. The motive for the crime is not yet known. The investigation is on-going.

On Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at approximately 10:24 PM, Patrol Officers and LA County Fire responded to a structure fire in the area of the 1700 block of E. Mission Blvd. Upon arrival, LA County Fire Personnel extinguished the flames and discovered an adult male deceased inside the residence.

LA County Fire Arson Investigators along with Homicide Investigators from the Pomona Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene and began an extensive investigation. The motive for the crime is not yet known. The investigation is on-going.

On Saturday, September 14, 2024 at approximately 06:41 AM, Patrol Officers responded to a female down in the area of the 900 block of W. Holt Ave. Upon arrival, Officers located the female victim down and unresponsive. L.A. Co. Fire Personnel also responded and pronounced the victim deceased.   

Homicide Investigators from the Pomona Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene and began an extensive investigation. The motive for the crime is not yet known. The investigation is on-going.

On August 24, 2024 at approximately 10:55 PM, patrol officers responded to a person in the 2100 blk of N. Towne Ave. officers located the victim down and suffering from gunshot wounds. L.A. County. Fire Personnel responded and transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment. The victim ultimately succumbed to his injuries. 
  
Homicide Investigators from the Pomona Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene and began an extensive investigation. The motive for the crime is not yet known.

EDITOR’S NOTE:

On August 16, 2024 at approximately 06:56 AM Patrol Officers responded to a female down in the area of the 1300 block of W. Mission Blvd. Upon arrival, Officers located the female victim down and unresponsive. L.A. Co. Fire Personnel also responded and pronounced the victim deceased. 

Homicide Investigators from the Pomona Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene and began an extensive investigation. The motive for the crime is not yet known. The investigation is on-going.

Editor’s Note:

The Daily Bulletin has reported this incident took place at the 1300 Block of W 3rd Street. However, Pomona Police Department reports the location of the incident took place on the 1300 Block of W. Mission, a block south of W. 3rd street. The victim was found with stab wounds in her bathtub.

On June 7, 2024 at approximately 5:25 PM, Patrol Officers responded to a call shots fired and a person down in the 1600 block of E. Holt Ave. Officers located the victim down and suffering from gunshot wounds. L.A. Co. Fire Personnel responded and transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment. The victim ultimately succumbed to his injuries.

Upon arrival, Officers located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. L.A. Co. Fire Personnel responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.

On February 14th, 2024 at approximately 11:54pm, Pomona Police Dispatch received a call for service of a male down in the alley in the 900 block of E. Holt Ave. Paramedics from LA County Fire responded and transported the victim to a local hospital. The victim was treated at the hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

Investigators from the Pomona Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit responded and began an extensive investigation. The motive for the crime is not yet known.

VICTIMS:   (2) Adult Victims - Emanuel Moran and other remains anonymous both Pomona residents.

On January 20, 2024 at approximately 2:30 AM Patrol Officers responded to a call shot fired in the area of 500 N. Claremont Pl. Upon arrival, Officers located one victim down suffering from gunshot wounds. L.A. Co. Fire Personnel responded and pronounced the victim deceased. A second victim was transported to a local hospital and is listed in critical condition.    

Homicide Investigators from the Pomona Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene and began an extensive investigation. The motive for the crime is not yet known.


Editors Update:

Twenty two year old Emanuel Moran of Pomona, was found deceased in an alley up the arrival of LA County Fire. Moran died by gun shot. 19 year old Aly Mejia remains in hospital.
